The only way you know you are choosing the health plan that best fits your needs and your budget is to consult with a reputable health broker that will answer all your questions and give you honest answers to your questions.

Health Insurance Premium is determined by the company underwriters. Your approved premium is the same no matter who you purchase your coverage from. You will not save any money by going direct with an insurance company.
Your final approved premium is based on your residence, sex, age, height/weight, tobacco use, history of medical conditions, current medical conditions and medications.
You cannot get an accurate instant online quote when the quote engine does not take into account your height/weight, medical conditions or medications. Ohio is not a guarantee issue State. Companies will rate up your quotes for height and weight that is above their guidelines. Companies can deny coverage, rate up (increase premium) or rider out (not cover) health conditions. If you do not know how each company treats health conditions, how can you choose the plan that best fits your needs from a list of companies that have all quoted you preferred rates? Just because you may have applied for and been denied coverage by one company does not mean that you will be denied coverage by all companies.
